A creche and junior church runs during the Sunday morning service at 10:30am

Junior Church

Junior Church is held each Sunday during the 10:30 am morning service.

Junior Church is for primary age children.  Together we sing songs and hymns, read the Bible, pray and listen to a children’s talk. 

All the leaders of Junior church have the appropriate DBS checks and there will always be at least two leaders onduty at any time.  Junior church is normally split into two groups the younger group runs from age 3 or 4 to 7 years old and the older group for 7 to 11 year olds.  We are always flexible in putting children in the most appropriate group for them to learn!  Each group normally has at least a leader and a helper. 

The older children and adults then continue in the main service, where the focus is on teaching and understanding the Bible. Guide-sheets are provided to help older children and young people follow the sermon.

A creche also runs in the church vestry with a video link to the main service.

Chatterbox

 

 

Chatterbox is a lively, friendly group for parents with babies and toddlers. Together we listen to Bible stories and share our love of music during rhyme time. Parents can relax with a cup of ground coffee, and we have lots of new toys for your little ones to enjoy.

Chatterbox is held during term time, on Tuesday mornings between 9.45 and 11.30 in the hall at the back of the church. Why not come along for a taster session?

IGNITE

IGNITE is the name of our Youth Group at Calne Free Church for secondary age young people.

We meet each Friday evening between 7pm and 8:30pm in the Church Hall  (during school term-time).

We meet for an engaging Bible study where we find out how the Bible, God’s Word, speaks to us today! We then have some snacks and drinks over a little chat and discussion, followed by a time of brilliantly fun games!
